GLYN Hirst, Joseph Vickers and Jack Webster were on target for Field Reserves in their 3-2 win at Oxenhope Recreation Reserves in the West Yorkshire League Alliance Division One.
Wyke Wanderers Reserves lost 3-1 against Huddersfield Amateur Reserves.
In difficult windy conditions, Wyke had the advantage in the first half, going close through Joe Sager and Hoi-Pin Truong before Sam Digby put them in front.
The wind seemed to increase, making the second half one-way traffic, with Amateurs attacking at will, but Wanderers defended well.
It was only a matter of time before Huddersfield equalised, however, and they added a second soon after.
Wyke battled on but when their goalkeeper brought down the striker, Amateurs wrapped the game up by converting the resulting penalty.
