HUDDERSFIELD Town midfielder Philip Billing is a major doubt for today's match at Derby County after suffering a groin injury in Good Friday's 3-2 victory over Preston North End.

Billing was forced off after 36 minutes, although his replacement Jack Payne scored the Terriers' second goal.

Sean Scannell was an unused substitute after featuring for the under-23s last week, while Harry Bunn will also hope to be involved as he continues his comeback from injury.

Defender Jon Gorenc Stankovic is out for ten months after tearing a cruciate knee ligament last month.

Meanwhile, Rajiv van La Parra believes that Town only need one more win to secure a Sky Bet Championship play-off place, with the Preston victory meaning it is a case of when and not if they achieve that.

The Dutch winger said: "We are happy that we won this game. It was an important win for us which helps us to secure our place in the play-offs.

"I was really happy because it was a well-deserved win – but they scored two goals out of nothing and that made it hard for us.

"We made a big step towards the play-offs. We need one more (win) and then we are there, for sure.

"Everyone is so excited about this season and hopefully we can get into the play-offs, then from there you never know what might happen."

Town beat a stubborn Preston team and, much like the Burton Albion game two fixtures earlier, it seemed a case of the Terriers once again not taking their chances.

Town manager David Wagner insists he is not worried by the double fixtures over the Easter weekend.

"It isn't something different to play on a Friday and a Monday as opposed to a Saturday and a Tuesday," said Wagner.

"It's the same. We are used to working under different circumstances, even if it means we are not as fresh as we would like to be, but everyone in the Championship has this schedule."
