BRIGHOUSE Town Reserves lost 3-2 at new Lancashire League leaders Yorkshire Amateur Reserves, despite deservedly taking the lead through Jack Harris and missing a glorious chance to lead 2-0.
Town lost their shape in the second half and trailed 2-1 before Ash Muncaster grabbed an equaliser.
However, with ten minutes to go, Amateur scored the winner.
Town's assistant manager Barry Thomas said: "We had a very young team and we tired in the last ten minutes, which enabled our Leeds opponents to win and go top."
The Silsden Reserves v Ossett Town Reserves match was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, as was the Northern Under-19 Alliance League game between Bradford Park Avenue and Thackley.
