PALESTINO and Girlington have maintained their 100 per cent records in the Spen Valley League's Memorial Trophy.
Girlington won 10-0 at Savile Town to stay in front in Group A, with Mohammed Qasim (4), Monem Fazal (2), Umar Zahoor (2), Saad Abbas and Kamran Khan getting the goals.
In Group B, Palestino triumphed 6-0 at home to Savile United, the marksmen being Abdul Qayum (4), Zain Mushtaq – his 22nd goal of the season – and Theo Bujra.
Savile United are level with Palestino on 12 points but have played two games more,
The best-contested section is Group C, with Dewsbury West Side (11 points) and Athletico (ten) leading the way with a game in hand on third-placed George Healey (ten).
