DEWSBURY West Side Reserves pulled off the best result of the day in the Spen Valley Memorial Trophy.

West Side, who are fifth in Division One of the Spen Valley League, drew 2-2 at Marsh, who are second.

Goals for the visitors came from Arsalan Shahid and Arbaaz Khan, with Andrew Milner and Alastair Bolland replying.

Premier Division leaders Palestino won their top-flight tie 4-1 at Savile United, courtesy of goals by Zain Mushtaq (2), Mohaib Anjam and Abdul Qayum.

Savile Youth, who are third, triumphed 6-3 at Division One outfit Norfolk, led by Abdullah Aswat's hat-trick.

George Healey, who are leading the First Division, emphasised their form with an 8-2 defeat of third-placed visitors Inter Batley in another tie, Reece Scholes bagging a treble.
