BAILDON Trinity Athletic enjoyed a resounding 6-1 victory at Great Preston in Division Two of the West Yorkshire Legue.

Front three James Pinto, Ash Cooper and Andrew Radosevic proved a real handful with Radosevic bagging a first-half hat-trick. Midfielder Darren Rands supplied two assists.

Lee Mathers bagged two goals and winger Pinto rounded off Trinity’s tally before a poor pass out of defence from Elliot Moody set up a late consolation.

In the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup, Brighouse Town reserves had to switch their tie against Halifax Irish because their first team were at home.

But they still came away with a 4-3 win after extra-time, scoring through Jack Normanton’s two penalties, 16-year-old Ethan Nixon and Mark Etherington.

Thackley reserves won 3-1 at Northowram with goals from Chris Davey, Luke Robinson and Joe Storey. Man of the match was one-time Bradford City striker Joe Brown on his comeback from injury.

Wyke Wanderers demolished Newsom 7-1 in a game they dominated from start to finish.

A spectacular strike from Carter Russon set them on the way before Matt Conway added a double.

Man of the match Joe Entwhistle got the fourth and there were further goals from Gavin Turner and a Karl Fawcett brace.
