FIELD took local bragging rights in the West Yorkshire League Premier Division derby by beating hosts Wyke Wanderers 4-2.
Glyn Hirst opened the scoring after 20 minutes but Ian Horrocks equalised for Wyke with a well-taken goal. Hirst added his second after great footwork when he turned the Wanderers defence inside out.
In the second half Danny Cunningham increased the lead for Field with a superb shot and Josh Milner made the score 4-1 before Horrocks reduced the arrears for Wyke, whose goalkeeper Joe Haley was given the man of the match award.
Field, who can guarantee third place at home to Pool today, also won 4-1 at Horbury Town.
Hirst, Tom Ponter and Aidan Day put the Bradford visitors 3-0 ahead and, although Town pulled a goal back, Milner finished them off with a superb 30-yard shot.
