WYKE Wanderers kept alive their outside hopes of escaping relegation from the West Yorkshire League Premier Division as they came away from Otley Town with a 1-0 win.
The all-important goal came ten minutes from the end when Jamie Underdown scored.
Sibusiso Mayo, aged just 16, was unstoppable on the left wing for Wyke but the man of the match award went to Ian Bell, who made his first full appearance for the first team after missing the past 12 months due to injury.
Wyke secretary Dave Ryan said: "It was a good performance and we deserved to win, even though we missed a few chances."
Jack Webster (2) and Matthew Hartley were on target for Field Reserves in their 3-1 win against Robin Hood Athletic Reserves in the Alliance Division One.
