WYKE Wanderers are stuck at the bottom of the Premier Division after their 7-2 loss at Knaresborough Town in the West Yorkshire League.

Town took the lead inside 15 minutes with the help of poor Wyke defending and increased their lead minutes later.

Wyke played some nice football got back into the game when Ian Horrocks charged down a clearance to score, before more defensive mistakes gifted Knaresborough two further goals.

An injury to Craig Sheridan unsettled Wyke and Knaresborough sealed their win with three second-half goals.

Wanderers' problems increased when Rory Senior received his second yellow card – and minutes later a scuffle involving Wyke goalkeeper Ben Sharp and a Town striker saw both players receive straight reds.

Baildon Trinity Athletic were relegated from Division One following a 4-3 home defeat to Hartshead.

Trinity led after ten minutes when a corner was met by the towering head of centre back Will Hawksworth. Sean McVey then beat a few players before scoring with a 25-yard shot to increase the lead.

Darren Rands made it 3-0 to Baildon when he nutmegged a defender before lashing his shot into the top corner.

But Hartshead turned the tables in the second half with four goals and Elliott Moody of Baildon admitted: "We failed to manage the game and effectively sealed our own fate."

Ben Baker, Tom Ponter and Calum Robinson were on target for Field Reserves in a 3-2 win at Leeds City Reserves in Alliance Division One.

Wyke Wanderers Reserves' match against Horbury Town Reserves was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
