THACKLEY Reserves hit back from three goals down to draw 3-3 at Goole Reserves in the Lancashire League.
The start of the game was delayed by 15 minutes following the late arrival of the Thackley players due to traffic problems. The visitors took some time to find their feet and by the interval they were 2-0 down.
Goole added another after the restart to go three in front but Thackley got back into the game on 70 minutes through Karam Basi.
Ten minutes later the same player got a second and Joe Keen earned a share of the points with an equaliser on 86 minutes to cap a superb comeback.
However, in the dying embers of the match Ryan Ives of Thackley was shown a red card and a number of players received yellow cards following a fracas before the final whistle was blown.
Thackley's under-19s lost a close match 4-3 at Shelley in the Northern Alliance League.
Shelley raced into a three-goal lead before Thackley hit back just before half-time as Jack Morrall scored from the penalty spot.
The second half was a different proposition, with Thackley playing much better and adding goals from Elliott Clark and Krishan Patel.
The Dennyboys looked to have claimed a share of the points but Shelley hit a late winner.
