THACKLEY Reserves went top of the Lancashire League after their 3-1 defeat of Goole Reserves, who were bottom.
Jack Morrell opened the scoring for Thackley after five minutes, Ryan Ives converting a penalty ten minutes later and Tristan Innes getting the third before half-time, Goole netting a consolation goal in the second half.

Brighouse Town Reserves went through to the next round of the Halifax & District FA Cup after their 4-3 win over Warley Rangers.
Ash Scully (2), Craig Billington and Ben Pearson scored the goals for Brighouse, who were drawing 3-3 at full-time but won the tie in extra-time
