BRADFORD City take on Nottingham Forest at Eccleshill United on Sunday, hoping to hit back after last week's disappointing start to their FA Women's Premier League Northern Division, when they lost 3-2 at home to Sporting Albion.

City found themselves 3-0 down but late goals from substitute Carey Huegett and Sarah Danby saw them finish strongly.

Guiseley Vixens opened their first season in the top flight with a 2-1 defeat at Derby County, although they put in a good performance after going 2-0 down at the break to goals from Kate Lowder and Melissa Johnson.

Skipper Aimie Beresford pulled one back for the Vixens in the second half with a curling effort from the edge of the area.

Tomorrow, Vixens are at home to Huddersfield Town, who came back from 2-0 down at home to Stoke City to earn a draw.

Bradford Park Avenue continued their build up for the start of the Women's West Riding League season when they drew 3-3 at Sheffield Wednesday with goals from Laura Fagan, Nat Bell and Jade Nelson.
