SILSDEN Development edged out Eccleshill United Reserves 2-1 in the Lancashire League.
After a goalless first half, Silsden went ahead when a through ball from Travon Thompson set up Aaron Hollingdrake.
With 15 minutes to go, Giorgos Soupoulis ran clear of the Eccleshill defence and rounded the goalkeeper before placing his shot past two defenders on the goalline.
Eccleshill reduced the arrears late on but it came too late to affect the outcome.
