An Usman Hussain brace gave Rovers a 2-1 victory at eighth-placed Smokin Aces, for whom Ashraf Navsarkar netted in the only top-flight game played.

Idle have dropped from first to third in the First Division as chasers Palestino and Hightown Jets both won.

Bradley Balmforth (2) and Adam Rhodes were on target for Jets, who triumphed 3-2 at George Healey to go second – Luke Newsome and Ben Aparicio being on target for the losers.

Palestino are the new leaders on the back of a 4-2 home triumph over Fox & Hounds, Ryan Sanson (2), Ben McCardle (penalty) and James Chadwick hitting the net for Palestino, with George Farmer and Paul Beaumont replying.
