BRIAN Wolverton was the stand-out player for Eccleshill United as he scored five goals against Thackley during a 6-1 win in the Northern Under-19 Alliance League Cup.
Tom Baker grabbed the other goal for Eccleshill, who had Donovan Price, captain Bo Day and midfielder Chris Allen all turning in fine performances. Brendan Masuku netted Thackley's consolation.
Liversedge suffered a 2-1 defeat against North Ferriby United, who went in front after only five minutes from a free-kick.
Sedge hit back after 11 minutes through Jake Bell but, with the tie heading for extra-time, Ferriby grabbed an 85th-minute winner.
Field lost 3-2 at Brodsworth Welfare but were leading 2-1 at half-time through Callum Robinson and Kieran Suddard. The tie between Pickering Town and Silsden was postponed.
In the Lancashire League, Eccleshill United Reserves drew 3-3 at home to Ossett Albion Reserves.
Joseph D'Antonio put Eccleshill ahead after 15 minutes but Ossett equalised before Josh Rosenstrauch restored the Eagles' lead.
Ossett levelled once again and then went ahead but Wolverton's 81st-minute strike ensured the points were shared.
Silsden Development travelled to Harrogate Railway Reserves and came away with a 2-0 win, courtesy of goals from Aaron Hollindrake and Dale Feather.
