HOLDERS Bradford City, from the FA Premier League (North), won through to the last eight of this year's Women's West Riding County Cup competition with a 2-0 win over Guiseley Vixens thanks to first-half goals from skipper Faye Boshell and one from young Rosie McDonnell.

That result set up a home tie with Wetherby Athletic in January's quarter-final games, while West Riding League side Bradford Park Avenue go to Farsley, after beating Uppermill 3-1 with goals from Nat Bell 2, and player of the match Sophie Mitchell. North East Regional League side Farsley were 8-0 winners over Dewsbury Rangers

Ossett Albion, 9-3 winners over a Brighouse Town Development side, face a visit from Premier League (North) Division One side Leeds Ladies, 15-0 winners at Keighley Oaks in their second round game, while in the remaining quarter-final tie injury-hit Brighouse Town, 1-0 winners at Tingley Athletic with a fifth minute goal from Rachael White, will be at home to Selby side Brayton Belles.

In a return to FA Premier League action this week Bradford City make the long trip North to face Newcastle, needing a win to close the gap on the leading clubs, and Huddersfield Town are are similarly placed with they go to winless Wolves.

Guiseley AFC Vixens, lying third in Division One (North), have a chance to close the gap on Liverpool Feds when they take on Middlesbrough while in the Reserve Division leaders Bradford City, 5-0 winners over Leeds at Harrogate Railway in their last game, return for a back to back clash with their arch inter city rivals, and Guiseley reserves go to second bottom Huddersfield Town.

It is League Cup day in the West Riding League with Bradford Park Avenue, boosted by that cup win over Manchester League side Uppermill, take on leaders Harrogate Railway in an all Premier Division clash at Horsfall Playing Fields(1.45pm) and bottom club Keighley are at First Division Hebden Royd.

Silsden, also from Division One, go to Brayton reserves, Leeds Medics and Dentists entertain promotion chasing Ilkley Town, Battyeford, from Division Two, are at home to Third Division Castleford White Rose reserves, while Division Two relegation strugglers Dewsbury Rangers go to Brighouse Town Development from Division Three.

Bradford City Development side are looking to increase their lead in Division Two when they go to Thornes, in the league, hoping for a repeat of their 7-0 win at home three weeks ago.
