LIVERSEDGE strengthened their position at the Northern Under-19 Alliance League summit with a 6-1 win at Ossett Albion.

The Cobbydalers took the lead on 17 minutes through Jack Wriggleworth but the hosts soon equalised and Silsden player Ben Cox was then dismissed after two quick yellow cards.

Huddersfield netted just before the interval but Silsden levelled on 75 minutes through a Josh Brown free- kick, only for the home side to nick a late winner.

In the Lancashire League, Thackley Reserves had Dynal Nazir, Jack Morral and Ryan Ives on target in a 3-2 win at their Albion Sports counterparts, who replied through Mikey Hall and Marcus Harper.

Eccleshill Leeds went 2-0 through Tyler Dixon and Donovan Price but hosts Ossett Town Reserves hit back to draw 2-2.
