BAILDON Trinity Athletic are through to the semi-finals of the Wharfedale & District FA Challenge Cup.

They trailed 1-0 to Bradford FC against the run of play before the break but equalised through Tom Craven.

Then in the dying minutes, with extra-time looming, Andrew Radosevic dribbled past three players before slotting the ball home for Trinity's winner.

A good day became even better for Athletic when their reserves climbed off the foot of West Yorkshire League Alliance Division Two as a result of their 5-4 victory at Middleton Park Reserves.

Steven Boult, with his first touch, Johnny Reynolds – who lobbed the keeper from 35 yards – and Andrew Kenyon put Baildon 3-1 up, Kenyon's goal coming straight after Park had scored.

Reynolds then scored his second and finished his hat-trick off by beating the keeper with the outside of his foot from the edge of the area.

But Middleton battled until the last minute and got their fourth goal with the final kick.

In the Wheatley Cup, Wyke Wanderers defeated Dewsbury Rangers Old Boys 5-0 with a hat-trick from Ben Bodle and a brace by Ian Horrocks.

But Wyke Wanderers Reserves travelled to Sherburn White Rose Reserves and lost 4-3.

Wyke levelled at 2-2 only for Sherburn to pull away to 4-2 before a late reply made it an interesting last five minutes. Craig Lupton and new signing Max Powell were among Wyke's scorers.
