SMOKIN' Aces not only notched their first win of the season in the Spen Valley League, they also scored their first Premier Division goals.

Having lost 4-0 and 5-0 in their previous matches, they triumphed 4-2 at Savile United thanks to Imran Farooq (3) and Moosa Raja, with Shoaib Patel and Mohsin Accha replying.

TVR United are the leading scorers in the top flight and have also won all their matches, their latest being by 5-1 at Girlington. Haseeb Rehman (3), Asif Iqbal and Ashiq Iqbal were on target for United as Shoaib Javed netted the consolation.

Bradford Athletic have done TVR a favour by defeating previously unbeaten Marsh 3-1, Sultan Khan (2) and Abdul Qadir scoring for Athletic with Jordan Tailford replying for the hosts.

The contest between Route One Rovers, who are now third, and Savile Youth, in fourth, was predictably close and ended in a 3-3 draw.

Marksmen for Rovers were Asgar Taj, Sohail Fiaz and Usman Hussain, while Lookman Polli, Mohammad Amin Patel and Nabeel Hafeez replied.

Norfolk are off the mark in Division One after a 4-3 defeat of visitors George Healey. Ismail loonat, Eujeene Argodo, Said Said and Jalal Qadri struck for Norfolk as Olly Mitchell (2) and Courtney March netted for Healey.

The day's top marksmen was Dominic Simpson, who scored nine time in Fox & Hounds' 11-3 win at Cleckheaton Sporting.
