THERE was a cracking cup tie when Brighouse Town entertained Guiseley in the Under-18 FA Youth Cup.

Dylan Palfreyman took the game into extra-time after Jack Normanton had given Brighouse the lead.

Goals from Callum Charlton and Isaac Baldwin opened up 3-1 lead for Brighouse but back came Guiseley, who levelled through Oliver Hulme and an Aaron Fell penalty.

Brighouse held their nerve in the shoot-out, winning it 4-2 to earn a meeting with AFC Fylde in the next round.

Silsden Development travelled to AFC Emley Reserves and lost 6-2, with Oliver Peacock and Josh McNulty on target.
