Bradford City and Leeds United had mixed weekend fortunes ahead of their West Riding County FA Women’s Cup final at Woodlesford tomorrow night (7.30).
City climbed to fifth in the FA Women’s Premier League with a 2-0 win at Wolves, with Rachel Lee and Caroline Omboyii scoring the goals, while Leeds lost 3-2 at second-placed Nottingham Forest.
Coach Steve Winterburn, with no injury problems to deal with, will be keen to reverse a trend that has seen his City team fail to win any first-team contest between the two sides since he joined the club eight years ago.
