Marsh have the champagne on ice after all but securing the Division One championship by defeating main rivals Savile United 3-0 in the Spen Valley League.

Mark Wigley scored twice and Richard Harvey completed the tally to leave the unbeaten leaders needing just one more point from their remaining three games to guarantee top spot.

Smokin’ Aces could still nick second place as they continued their push with a 4-0 win against basement side Cleckheaton Sporting, while second-bottom Savile Town picked up a handy point after drawing 2-2 against fourth-placed Norfolk.

Vision’s hopes of snatching the Premier Division crown suffered a blow as they lost 4-0 to TVR United, who moved up to fourth. Vision remain third after conceding goals to Ashiq (2), Faisal and Waleed.

Ravensthorpe Bulls slipped to fifth after a surprise 3-2 defeat to second-bottom Savile Youth, with Abdullah Aswat’s hat-trick outweighing replies by Paddy Davies and Danny Damen.

West Park United remain rock-bottom without a point after a 4-1 defeat to mid-table Girlington, who had Adeeb backing up Danyal Darr’s hat-trick.
