Second-placed Brighouse Town Reserves missed a penalty as their Lancashire League East title hopes suffered a blow with a 5-0 loss at leaders FC United Reserves.
Brighouse spokesman Barry Thomas said: “Our chances are not over yet as FC United still have to come to our place.”
Eccleshill United A Reserves drew 1-1 at Ossett Town Reserves, with Delano Brown on target for the Eagles, while Liversedge Reserves suffered a 4-0 loss at AFC Emley Reserves.
Silsden beat Padiham 3-0 in the North West Counties League Reserves Division after goals from Mikey Hall, Nicky McNally and Ben Geary.
In the Northern Under-19 Alliance League, Field beat Ossett Albion 3-2 with goals from Max Thirwell, Levi Pedder and Dylan Naylor.
Eccleshill United’s teenagers had Brandon Dube, Mazn Ahmed and Wayne Sparks on target in a 3-0 win at Ossett Town.
