They picked up their first point in three attempts in their last game after a 4-4 draw with Derby County at Thackley. Emma Dobson (2), Ellie Swinhoe and Mel Garside-Wight were the City scorers while the bar denied Jodie Redgrave a winner in the closing stages.
In the Reserve Division Cup, Bradford City Reserves take on Huddersfield Town at Rawdon Meadows.
City went down 4-2 to leaders Nottingham Forest in their last Reserve League game, Becky Kendell and Kerry Playle scoring, while Town went down 7-0 at Newcastle.
Bradford Park Avenue will be flying the city flag in the first qualifying round of the national cup when they go to Ossett Albion for a game that won't be short of local rivalry.
Albion, currently without a point after three games in the North East Regional League (South) are being managed by one-time Bronte, Bradford City and Welsh international Nicky Davies and will have two other former City players in their line-up.
In their opening West Riding League Premier Division game, Avenue drew 2-2 at Ossett Town, Nic Chamberlain and Laura Wolfenden scoring, and will be in good heart against a side with three successive defeats to reflect on.
Avenue Seconds open their season at Brighouse Sports Reserves.
Other ties involving the District’s clubs see Brighouse Sports, from the West Riding Premier, face a big ask at Regional League Premier Division side Hull City, while Brighouse Town, unbeaten in the Regional First Division (South), take on CMB Ladies, fresh from a 6-1 win over Handsworth in their last outing.
Keighley Oaks – who drew 3-3 at Selby side Brayton in their opening Premier Division game in the West Riding League – are home to a Pontefract SSC side still reeling from their 7-0 reverse at Harrogate Railway while, in Division Three, Bradford Park Avenue Reserves go to Brighouse Sports Reserves and the newly-formed Bradford City A team are at Middleton Park.
