Whetley Lane Vets play their long-awaited FA Umbro Vets final, carried over from last season due to the unavailability of their players, against Reading side Overton United at England’s new training headquarters at St George’s Park on Sunday.
Manager Sean Kerry believes his side have a great chance of bringing the Cup home, especially with ex-professionals Andy Ritchie and Paul Atkinson in his side, along with ex-local league players Ray Garland, Aidey Tate and Martin Kemp, who form the backbone of the team.
