FARSLEY Celtic had to come from behind three times to earn a draw from their Evo-Stik League trip to Silverlands as hosts Buxton proved to be troublesome opponents.

The Bucks took an early lead in the Premier Division contest as Liam Hardy converted at the far post after Anthony Wilson's fourth-minute flick on.

The Celts levelled from the penalty spot on the quarter-hour mark as Ryan Watson drilled in after Paul Walker had been fouled.

The home side also scored from the spot, Hardy bagging his brace when he netted the penalty that resulted from an Isaac Baldwin handball, and they took that slender lead into the break.

Baldwin atoned for conceding the penalty when he turned provider for Farsley's second equaliser. James Walshaw converted after good work and an inviting ball in by Baldwin to see parity restored again with just 20 minutes left to play.

Ten minutes later the Bucks were back in front, somewhat against the run of play, as substitute Curtis Morrison set up Wilson.

It was a Celts sub who netted the last goal of the game as Adam Priestley, who had replaced Walker, fired in a last-gasp equaliser after skipper Danny Ellis' flick on.

Farsley stay sixth, just outside the play-off places, while Buxton retained tenth place.

There was a much-needed victory for BRIGHOUSE TOWN in Division One North as they closed the gap on fellow strugglers Radcliffe Borough with a superb second-half comeback.

Boro skipper Carl Peers broke the deadlock midway through the first half and he made it a brace when he netted a rebound after Town keeper Chris Butt could only a parry a shot seven minutes before the break.

Town left it late but Tom Haigh was also on the scoresheet twice as he curled a low shot into the bottom corner on 66 minutes and then saw a deflected effort loop over home keeper Kyle Haslam 11 minutes later.

Former Albion Sports player Rhys Jenkinson had replaced Adam Shaw after an hour and he marked his Brighouse debut with an 82nd-minute winner, slotting in after good work from fellow sub Aaron Martin.
