FARSLEY Celtic are striving to complete a rapid double tomorrow as they head to Bamber Bridge in Evo-Stik League Division One North.

The Celts appeared to be cruising to the title and the one automatic promotion place after winning 5-3 against the Lancashire side last weekend.

But a 4-2 midweek home defeat by Clitheroe means they only lead the table on goal difference from Lancaster City.

Farsley’s joint manager Neil Parsley said: “We are into the final furlong of the season now and we knew that every game would be difficult.

“Many of the clubs we faced recently gave us a hard time, exactly like Bamber Bridge did.

“It’s a quick turnaround and we expect a big reaction from them as it’s so fresh in their memory.”

Rivals Brighouse Town have home advantage against Tadcaster Albion. Paul Quinn’s men registered their 15th draw of the campaign last Saturday when they were held 1-1 by Kendal.

Thackley’s hopes of promotion from the Toolstation Northern Counties East League are all but gone but they will be looking to hold onto fourth place in the Premier Division when they host second-bottom Armthorpe Welfare.

Sixth-placed Albion Sports are buoyant after beating FA Vase finalists Cleethorpes Town 3-0 in midweek.

Albion travel to mid-table Bottesford Town while local rivals Liversedge have no fixture.

Campion’s outside hopes of a play-off finish in Division One in their first season in the league are still alive as they host a club currently in the play-off places.

It will be eighth versus fifth as Grimsby Borough travel to the sportsbulk.co.uk Stadium for the first time.

Eccleshill United are immediately below Campion in the table and trail by six points with six games remaining, but, the Eagles are in fine form.

They travel to lower mid-table Shirebrook Town looking for a fifth straight victory.

Silsden have faced a difficult run of fixtures in the Hallmark Security League Division One and the tough games keep coming as they travel to third-placed Whitchurch Alport.
