FARSLEY Celtic will be looking to break the 60-point barrier for the season in their penultimate game when they make the short journey into Lancashire for an Evo-Stik Division One North mid-table battle with Mossley.

There is a lot of symmetry with Farsley's and neighbouring rivals Brighouse Town's fixtures as both are away against the club immediately below them. Also both of the reverse fixtures were postponed in December but were replayed last month.

That is where the similarity ends as Brighouse Town beat Kendal Town 4-2 in March while the Celts were beaten 2-1 by Mossley.

However, Neil Parsley's men will be going into the game with a spring in their step after Tuesday's 4-0 win at Droylsden. James Knowles continued his remarkable return to the game after over a year out with a broken leg by opening the scoring following a goalless first half.

Knowles' central defensive partner Paddy Miller was also on target with Lewis Nightingale adding the other two.

Brighouse's Lakeland hosts Kendal may be just one place below Paul Quinn's men with a game in hand but they trail by seven points. Quinn's side also enjoyed a midweek victory as they edged a seven-goal thriller 4-3 at Clitheroe.
