BUOYANT Farsley Celtic will be eager to maintain their midweek form when they make the short trip to Ossett Albion for an Evo-Stik League derby clash tomorrow.
Neil Parsley described his side's midweek Division One North performance as "awesome" as they cut high-flying Witton Albion to pieces.
The Celts ran in three goals inside the opening quarter hour and added four more without reply in the second half.
Striker Aiden Savory returned from injury and bagged a double, as did the on-loan Paul Walker, while Farsley's relentless attacking forced Witton into conceding two penalties and Aaron Hardy confidently dispatched both.
The rout shifted Farsley's goal difference into the black, lifted them out of the bottom three and stretched their unbeaten run in all competitions to five games.
Their confidence should be sky-high as they take on Albion, who are five places higher but only four points better off.
BRIGHOUSE TOWN also enjoyed an excellent midweek victory, wining 3-1 at Spennymoor Town to move onto the coat tails of their fourth-placed opponents – but they face another big test tomorrow.
Town's visitors are leaders Glossop North End, who are the only unbeaten club in the section. The Derbyshire outfit have won nine and drawn four, although they are only one point clear of Warrington Town at the summit.
