BRADFORD Park Avenue face a daunting trip to Vanarama Conference North newcomers AFC Fylde tonight.

The Lancashire club are the form team in the division and romped to an 8-1 win at Oxford City last Saturday while Avenue were slipping to a 3-1 home defeat to Boston United.

Fylde have won their last three, beating Hednesford Town 3-1 in their last home game and storming to a 5-0 win at Colwyn Bay before that.

Tenth placed Avenue are just three points worse off than their hosts who are fourth, just above GUISELEY on goal difference.

The Lions got back to winning ways on Saturday and, more importantly, rediscovered their defensive strength with another clean sheet in a 3-0 victory at Brackley Town.

They face Colwyn Bay who have won their last two games, 3-0 at Leamington and 4-1 at Gainsborough Trinity so they pose a threat.

BRIGHOUSE TOWN host Spennymoor Town in the Evo-Stik Division One North.

Paul Quinn’s men drew 2-2 at Kendal Town at the weekend but it felt like a win after they trailed 2-0 going into stoppage time.

They grabbed two dramatic goals to earn a point but Spennymoor also had a moral victory despite only banking one point. A 0-0 draw saw them end the 100per cent start Salford City had enjoyed.

ECCLESHILL UNITED make the short journey to Division One counterparts AFC Emley looking for a boost in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Cup second round.
