Alliance League still intent on May 2 deadline

The Bradford Sunday Alliance League, after their complete whiteout last week, have had their schedule shoved further behind.

However, the league will still finish on Sunday, May 2 as scheduled.

League champions Buttershaw White Star suffered their first defeat in the league in their last fixture and will be wanting to tke the points in the Premier Division when Ventus Sports visit Harold Park. West Bowling will also want victory when they visit Queensbury to keep up the pressure at the top of the table.

The top two clash in Division One when second-placed Cuedos Rangers entertain leaders Westwood Park in a must-win match for both teams.

In Division 1A, table-toppers Stocks Lane Rangers have third-placed Buttershaw Celtic as visitors, while the winners in the Thackley Shoulder- Fiddlers fixture will put pressure on the top teams.

In Division 1B, the front-runners will be wanting to return to winning ways when they entertain unpredictable Saltaire Rangers.
