For the first time in weeks, the weather didn't interfere with fixtures for GOALS Bradford Sunday Alliance League clubs.

Premier Division leaders Olympic, inspired by man of the match Ryan Metcalf among others, gave a golden display at strong Leeds hosts Chapeltown Fforde Grene, winning their delayed third-round West Riding County FA Sunday Cup tie 4-1 to book a game at Colton.

Steve Hollingworth put Olympic ahead after a strong start, and he made it 2-0 in the second half with a crisp 20-yard finish.

However, the hosts were finding their feet and halved the deficit before the visitors had Awais Khan sent off with 25 minutes remaining.

But with Fforde Grene applying all the pressure, they left gaps at the back, which were exploited by Osman Malik making it 3-1 as he capitalised on a defensive error.

Hollingworth completed his hat-trick in the final minute, dispossessing the home keeper before running half the length of the pitch to score.

An Alliance club also made progress in the West Riding County FA Sunday Trophy, with Queensbury winning their fourth-round tie 3-2 against Wharfedale Triangle League rivals Myrtle Park Claret and Blue.

Adam Reynard equalised for Bury in the 35th minute before Steven Mason and man of the match Ben Ellis netted in the second half.

Also influential, however, were keeper Nathan Almond and centre back Ben Pritchard as Queensbury booked a quarter-final berth at fellow Alliance team Mill Lane, who saw off Huddersfield team Deighton the previous weekend in a penalty shoot-out after a 3-3 draw.

There was also some internal knockout action, with Tyersal bagging four straight goals in recovering from 3-1 down to defeat Beldon Oddies 5-3 in an Intermediate Cup quarter-final.

Adam Jarrett hit a brace for the Arkwright Street men and, alongside Josh Hyde, gave a man of the match performance.

Josh Finan also bagged a brace for the home team and Mark McNulty added a penalty.

Hat-tricks for man-of-the-match Leevan Moses and Nicky Ellerton spearheaded Mill Lane's 7-0 victory over Titans, with substitute Dale Holmes also scoring with his first touch of the ball as they also booked a semi-final berth.

There was also league action, and West Bowling returned to winning ways when they beat Sandy Lane 4-1 in the Premier Division, with Chris Wood hitting a double for the defending champions, and Ben O'Melia and Daryll Leach also netting.

Bolton Woods won 2-1 at Thornton United, with Andrew McHugh hitting a double for Woods, while Thornbury Celtic put seven past Swaine Green.

Championship Division leaders Station Hotel put 14 past bottom club Harrogate Road, with Josh Milner hitting four and Paul Harrison a hat-trick on his return to the team, with Andy Benjamin also bagging a treble.

Crossflatts Village remain second after a 6-0 victory over Thornton United Reserves, with Matthew Bentham and Colin Schofield both hitting doubles for the Village team.

Toller lost ground on the top two after a 6-4 reverse at Wyke Rangers.

In Division Two, Danny O'Donnell hit a hat-trick for Northern in a 5-1 home victory over Fairweather Green WMC as they replaced Titans in pole position.

Brendan Maltby had a treble for Fairweather Green as they beat Peacock Bar 5-2 to move into third.
