WHITE Eagles enjoyed a convincing 6-1 victory against Thornton United Reserves in the Bradford & District FA Sunday Cup semi-finals.

Meanwhile, White Eagles kept alive their own hopes of a double with a 3-1 victory over spirited Ventus United opponents in the Premier Division. Eagles had Trinity Brown and Craig Smith-Brown (2) on target before Simon Gelder grabbed a consolation.

West Bowling still head the table by nine points after beating Oakenshaw 5-0, with Glynn Hirst (2) supported by Aidan Day, Chris Wood and Andy Kenyon.

Elliott Holmes hit a hat-trick for the hosts and further goals from Gary Sunderland and Christian Soda sealed the points.

In Division 1B, Grass Greener United took advantage of second-placed Lyceum's cup final exploits to close the gap to a point by crushing Fairweather Green WMC 6-2.
