BATTLING Bradford Sunday Alliance League outfit Olympic ended HT Sports' two-year hold on the West Riding County FA Sunday Cup with a 3-2 victory.

Olympic twice came from behind through goals by Tariq Malik (2) and Scott Metcalf in a thrilling success at Seymour Street that secured a home tie in round three against Hope Inn.

West Bowling also moved into the third round with a convincing 6-0 win away to Ilkley Dynamos.

Nick Cowling and Joe Jagger were on target to add to doubles by Chris Wood and Jordon Lee Hagyard.

White Eagles welcomed Seacroft WMC to Green Top Street and they triumphed 8-4 to secure an away trip to St Johns Fisher OB of the Heavy Woollen League.

It was an impressive effort from Eagles, who trailed 4-2 at half-time before running out emphatic winners.

Meanwhile, league champions Thornton United had a convincing 8-2 win against Huddersfield opponents Milnesbridge.

Dave Wilson and Josh Milner both scored twice for the winners to earn a home tie against Leeds City Rovers.

Wrose Bull hosted YMCC in the County FA Trophy and drew 2-2 with YMCC before winning 4-2 on penalties.

There was also some league action and Division One top two Undercliffe CC and Allerton shared a goalless draw and the points.

A thrilling Division 2A match finished in a 3-3 draw, with Great Northern the better team in the first half to surge three goals up against Titans.

The visitors pulled one back on the stroke of half-time through Mick Dougan's header. Dougan then added his second just after the break as Titans bossed the second period before Mark McNulty headed home the equaliser.

Titans were by far the better team in the second half, also hitting the post twice and limiting Great Northern to just a handful of chances.

The Division 2B fixture between Victoria and Queensbury Rangers finished in a 9-0 massacre to the home side.

The opening to the game was tight, with both teams trying to take control, before a great ball from Jason Bland allowed Dave Town to open the scoring by curling around the keeper.

Jamie Green netted the second goal with a header on his debut and Jamie Thompson added a third straight from the restart.

Matthew Thompson and Adam Ackroyd applied further efforts before Thompson scored the goal of the game with a left-footed thunderbolt.

Bland was next on the Victoria scoresheet, while Green and Adam Ackroyd completed the tally.

It was an entertaining game to watch, played in the right manner, and Queensbury battled away to the end.
