DEFENDING champions Thornton United face a tough test in the latest round of Bradford Sunday Alliance League fixtures.

Third-placed Thornton are up against in-form Bradford Moor, who are sixth, as they look to keep pace with the early pace-setters.

A victory could lift Thornton top of the Premier Division but that is unlikely as current leaders White Eagles are favourites to win at home to rock-bottom Bolton Woods.

But second-placed West Bowling are in danger as they must take on unbeaten promoted team Oakenshaw, who are fifth.

At the other end of the table, Ventus United host Peel Park at Dam Lane in Yeadon.

Top match in Division One sees third-placed Olympic at home to Wyke Rangers, who are fourth.

There is also a top-of-the-table clash in Division 2B as leaders Station Hotel visit second-placed Victoria, with both sides boasting 100 per cent records to date.
