STANNINGLEY Albion clash with Peel Park in an intriguing West Riding County FA Sunday Cup tie this weekend.

It is unfortunate that two Bradford Sunday Alliance League clubs have been paired together in the third round.

But with Albion top of the Premier Division and Park second, it should prove well worth watching.

Another all-Alliance contest sees Division One leaders Oakenshaw lock horns with Division 1B high-fliers Toller.

Thornton United, fourth in the Premier Division, have attractive opposition as they entertain Leeds top-flight outfit Halton Moor, who have a good pedigree in this competition.

West Bowling have been drawn at home too and they have Harrogate CSC from the Claro League as opposition. The last time these two teams met in this competition, Bowling won a seven-goal thriller and went on to lift the trophy.

White Eagles also have home advantage as they tackle Woodman Batley, with both sides preferring to play attractive, attacking football.

There are 11 Sunday Alliance League sides involved in the West Riding County FA Sunday Trophy – including an all-domestic match-up between Bradford Vale and Mill Lane 2004.

Lyceum, who are going well in Division 2B, entertain Huddersfield side Deighton WMC.
