Bowling were slow out of the blocks and the visitors missed some early chances.
They were soon made to pay, as Bowling went in at the break 2-0 in front.
It was a coast after the interval, with Joe Jagger grabbing a hat-trick, Paul Hellawell a brace and further goals came from Chris Woods and Jamie Hall.
Premier Division Relay slipped to a surprise 3-2 defeat against Division 1A outfit Stocks Lane Rangers, while top-flight side Thornton United overcame Division 1B opponents Wrose Albion with goals from Dave Wilson (2) and Deroy White.
A Kieran Barnes hat-trick helped Woodman, from Division 3B, beat Queensbury in the Sunday Cup.
The final score was 4-1, with Tom Jeffs also on target for Woodman, who ran away with the match in the second half after being 1-1 at the interval.
Victoria Rangers beat Ancient Forresters 3-2 after extra-time. Nick Walker and Phil Bridle scored for Rangers in the 90 minutes and Damian Rushworth fired home from the penalty spot with five minutes remaining.
There were only two Premier Division matches this week. Sandy Lane hit Mill Lane for six, with Mathew Cavanagh and Stuart Cotterill scoring two each and Reece Windle and Tony Burtt also getting on the scoresheet. Bolton Woods and Peel Park shared four goals and the points in the other top-flight fixture.
Lane Ends entertained Bradford Phoenix in the First Division but the ungrateful visitors took a four-goal lead into the half-time break.
Two penalties brought Lane Ends back into the match but Ryan Hudson’s second strike in the 85th minute put paid to the comeback and clinched three points for the visitors, who also had Lewis Leighton and Andrew McHugh on the scoresheet in a 5-3 win.
In the top-of-the-table Division 1B clash at Swaine Green, Ventus United proved far too strong for the early-season pacesetters, winning 5-1 to leapfrog them at the summit on goal difference.
In a high-scoring Division 2B clash, there were ten goals scored between Grass Greener United and Saltaire Rangers.
Rob Coulter hit a hat-trick, with Ben Cawley, Adam Boocock and Aaron Oddy also grabbing a goal each for Grass Greener, who triumphed 6-4.
The visitors made a game of it, with three of their goals coming from the penalty spot.
Top scorers of the day were Division 3B leaders Lyceum, who smashed 15 goals past pointless Clayton Village Reserves.
Aaran Heywood made his debut for the hosts. He started on the bench but still had time to net a hat-trick, while Paul Hickey scored a brace – having also started as a substitute – as did James Poole in a one-sided contest.
