Pudsey Amateurs reached their second semi-final of the season with a comprehensive 4-0 victory over New Inn Celtic in the fourth round of the Intermediate League Cup.

Pudsey dominated the match from the outset and, although they missed a host of chances, strikes from Martin Sanderson, Richard Alexander, Joseph Baum and Jason Hinckley secured a last-four spot for the Bradford Sunday Alliance League Division 2B team.

Buttershaw White Star clinched another vital three points in their attempt to regain the Premier Division title with a comfortable 6-0 victory at Thornton United.

Three goals in each half put paid to Thornton as Buttershaw eased to a big win.

A Mark Betts hat-trick along with goals from Graeme Sides, Steve Hollingworth and a first goal for the club by Andrew Tasker saw the defending champions win the Manningham Mills derby.

West Bowling beat Bradford Skip Hire 2-0 with strikes from Chris Wood and Stuart Mcallum – with his first goal of the season five minutes from time.

The visitors missed lots of chances but there were outstanding displays from Chris Hanney and Carl Horseman.

Sandy Lane beat third-placed Bolton Woods 3-1 to move within a point of their rivals, and with a game in hand.

Mill Lane, in second, dropped points at Dudley Hill following a 1-1 draw.

Two goals apiece from Wyke Wanderers’ Simon Fagan and Alex O’Keefe helped the hosts to a 6-2 victory over Queensbury.

In Division One, Peel Park broke the deadlock against Cuedos Rangers with a scrappy goal from Ryan Dunne.

It took until the 70th minute for Peel to double their lead, Allan Morley Jr with a superb curling effort. Terrence Hargreaves put the game beyond Cuedos with a third, scoring against his old club.

Cuedos pulled one back through Jonathan Hicks but the hosts held on.

Stanningley Albion beat Tyersal 3-0 at Arkwright Street with goals from Chris Gairns, Tom Jarman and Liam Sanderson.
