ECCLESHILL United and Albion Sports both tasted victory last night.
Albion made it ten points from four games in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division with a 4-2 win at Parkgate.
Omar Habeeb put the Lions in front just before the break but the hosts levelled through Bradley Kerr minutes after the interval.
A goal from Rhys Jenkinson restored Albion’s lead, and Redmond Lee extended it midway through the second half.
Parkgate pegged one back, with Daniel Harris on target, but Lee bagged his brace with a strike in the last minute.
The Eagles stretched their winning run in Division One to seven games with a 2-0 home triumph over AFC Emley.
Eccleshill had to wait for their breakthrough, but Andy Cooper finally broke the deadlock 13 minutes from time when he fired in off the underside of the bar.
Former Albion midfielder Levi Maturine made the three points safe for the Eagles in stoppage time when he curled a shot home after good work from Luke Harrop and Anil Singh.
