ALBION Sports travel to Chesterfield to take on Staveley MW in tonight's only scheduled Toolstation Northern Counties East League match.

Kulwinder Sandhu's side go into the reverse fixture against Staveley sixth in the Premier Division but knowing they would go joint-fourth with a win.

It will be a big ask after Staveley, currently 14th, almost snatched victory at Throstle Nest on December 27.

Albion raced into a 2-0 lead after just six minutes but trailed 4-3 before Karl Hall netted a late leveller in an eight-goal thriller.

Unfortunately that last meeting was marred by a bad injury to Trojans striker Kurtis Morris. He was carried off to a great reception from the crowd and Albion later sent their best wishes to the player via social media.

The draw last time out will have given Staveley high hopes of going one better and taking maximum points on home soil against the Lions.

The incentive for the Trojans is that they would leap into the top half of the table with a home victory, although Albion have an impressive seven wins from their 11 away games this term.
