THIRD-PLACED Farsley Celtic aim to keep the pressure on the leadership duo in Evo-Stik Division One North tomorrow after being in cup action last weekend.

The Celts were unbeaten throughout November and hope to get December off to a winning start when they host seventh-placed Trafford – the league’s top scorers.

Two of Farsley’s wins last month were FA Trophy ties, and before the first of those the Celts were top of the pile.

They are just two points off the summit now and have five games in hand on leaders Scarborough Athletic and three in hand over Glossop North End who are second on goal difference.

Glossop make the journey to the Dual Seal Stadium to take on Brighouse Town who have slipped to sixth after taking just four points from their last six games.

Paul Quinn’s men will be looking to avenge a 2-0 defeat at the Hillmen’s Surrey Street just two games ago.

Albion Sports aim to breach the 40-point barrier in the Toolstation Northern Counties East Premier Division as they go into the second half of their campaign.

Kulwinder Sandhu’s men need only a draw from their trip to Athersley Recreation to reach the milestone but as ever they will go in search of a win as they look to improve on their sixth place.

Top tier rivals Liversedge ended a six game winless run with their first victory since late October last weekend and that will give them confidence as they host Handsworth Parramore.

The visitors are two places higher than Sedge but the gap is just one point, so Jonathan Rimmington’s men can leapfrog them with a home win.

Campion are also through the first half of their season in Division One and, like Albion, they are looking to burst through the 40-point mark, which would be a fine achievement in their first campaign on the non-league ladder.

Campion need a win from their trip to basement outfit Nostell MW as they go into the game on 38 points.

Silsden are targeting a rare league double when they head to fellow Division One strugglers AFC Blackpool in the Hallmark Security League.

The Cobbydalers are just two places higher than their hosts who are immediately above the drop zone as the two clubs – who were relegated together from the Premier Division last term – clash.

Silsden won the reverse fixture 5-2 back in September. However, they lost the corresponding fixture last season 5-0 so it’s not a seaside trip they will be taking for granted.
