LIVERSEDGE will be hoping to play their first Toolstation Northern Counties East League game of 2016 tomorrow as they look for the home win that could lift them out of the Premier Division relegation zone.
Rock-bottom Sedge have not taken to the pitch since December 5, when they lost a local derby 5-1 to ALBION SPORTS at Throstle Nest.
They face another of the division's high-fliers tomorrow when they host Clipstone.
Eighth-placed Clipstone and Barton Town Old Boys, who are sixth, were overtaken by Albion in midweek, when Kulwinder Sandhu's men strolled to a 3-1 home win over mid-table Retford United.
Barton lost fifth place because of that but will go back above Albion if they beat visitors THACKLEY as Sandhu's side have no fixture this weekend. Thackley, in 16th position, have been becalmed lately after four postponements on the trot.
ECCLESHILL UNITED face a tough game in Division One as they host leaders Hemsworth Miners' Welfare, who are three points clear and have taken 16 of the last 18 available points.
Sean Regan's mid-table Eagles are short of match practice and fitness after a frustrating holiday period. The severe wet weather led to three consecutive postponements and disrupted training schedules.
