Albion Sports on fire as they blast eight past rivals Retford
ALBION SPORTS went goal crazy, knocking in eight without reply at struggling Retford United.
The star of the show was Matt Mathers, who helped himself to a hat-trick.
Mathers headed in an Aran Basi cross to open the scoring early on and midway through the first half debutant Matt Dempsey headed in the second from a corner.
A Matt Morgan through ball opened up the opportunity for Danny Facey to net Albion’s third before half-time.
Mathers volleyed in a Facey cross to start the second half carnage before Ferdinand Annur hit the fifth from the edge of the area.
Centre back James Firth netted following a corner, substitute Levi Maturine added the seventh before Mathers bagged his third.
