ALBION Sports will be keen to bounce back from a surprise midweek Premier Division defeat in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League.

They lost 2-0 to rock-bottom Nostell MW on Wednesday to make it back-to-back home setbacks after losing by the same score to Barton Town Old Boys last weekend.

Boss Kulwinder Sandhu will be glad his side are on the road this weekend. They head to Parkgate, who are at the lower end of the table but only five points worse off than their ninth-placed visitors.

Another club showing poor form are Liversedge, who have picked up just two points at Clayborn so far this term.

Tomorrow's visitors are Maltby Main, who are immediately below their 15th-placed hosts and could overhaul them with a win. However, a victory for Sedge could lift them up into mid-table respectability.

Thackley have struggled both at home and away recently but go into their home game against Bridlington Town in buoyant mood after a 4-0 win at Armthorpe Welfare.

The Dennyboys are just above Sedge and four places below Brid but have played four games more than their visitors and three more than their neighbours.

The 30-point barrier is tantalisingly close for Eccleshill United in Division One but they would need a win at Lincoln Moorlands Railway to reach it this weekend.

The Eagles are fourth with 28 points, while their hosts are nine places lower and nine points worse off.
