NOT even a hat-trick by Brice Tiani could save Albion Sports as they were knocked out of the FA Vase by Daisy Hill on the outskirts of Bolton.

North West Counties League Division One outfit Daisy Hill edged a nine-goal thriller as they ran out 5-4 victors thanks to a last-gasp strike.

Alex Cusack gave Albion a fifth-minute lead but Chris Cummins soon levelled and the home side took a lead into the break after Craig Naylor's 41st-minute strike.

Tiani levelled before Albion conceded a penalty which Jordan Hussey converted.

It was 4-2 after Andrew Buckley scored 15 minutes from time but Tiani hit two late goals to level matters, only for Scott Winstanley to snatch an injury-time winner.

Silsden will be in the third qualifying round after coming from behind to beat a skilful Garforth Town side 3-1.

Garforth, who are Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division rivals of Albion, took a first-half lead when Luke Managham scored just before the half-hour mark.

But Joe Jalil equalised in the 69th minute before Danny Fagan and Craig Nicholls added late goals to pull the in-form Cobbydalers clear.

Liversedge bowed out after a 4-0 away defeat to north-east opponents Bedlington Terriers.
