The Vanarama Conference North leaders took the lead twice and Avenue boss John Deacey is expecting another hard, but close game.

He said: “We played well on Saturday and it will take a big, big effort to match that but there are plenty of positives to take from both our matches against them this season.

“I thought Joe Colbeck had an excellent game, Chib Chilaka put in a real shift and the new keeper John Danby impressed again.

“It will be a tough game but these are the ones you want to be involved in.”

New signing Chris Lever made his Avenue debut on Saturday, the left-sided defender came in for the cup tied Luke O’Brien. Deacey is set to name the same squad after picking up no fresh injuries.
