Albion Sports have announced three pre-season friendly games – and are close to adding another against a high-profile club.

Kulwinder Sandhu's men will once again be tenants at Farsley's Throstle Nest for the coming season and the Evo-Stik League outfit have precedence when it comes to fixtures. But their hosts have agreed to a warm-up game against Albion.

Sandhu (pictured) said: "Farsley have been really good to us again and we are very grateful to them for that.

"It's great to have a game against them. We will be playing Guiseley as well and that is also at Throstle Nest.

"The other game that is already arranged is at Barnoldswick Town but we are waiting for FC Halifax Town to get back to us with a date.

"We are quite hopeful that the game will go ahead but we have to fit in with Farsley and respect that their pre-season plans have priority.

"Lots of clubs have been in contact with us asking for friendly games but we have been trying to get them away.

"!That is making it a bit of a problem but with two prestige games like Guiseley and Farsley already and possibly another against a big club like Halifax, we have got to be very happy with that."
