Carlton class clinches cup final victory

Andy Carlton scored in the third minute of injury time as Otley Town beat Ventus/Yeadon Celtic 1-0 in the Wharfedale & District FA Challenge Cup final at Guiseley's Nethermoor ground.

Otley had already been promoted as West Yorkshire League Division One champions.

The Wharfedale & District Sunday Cup final, also hosted by Guiseley, was won by FC Clothiers as they edged out Baildon Trinity Athletic 4-3 in a penalty shoot-out after the scores were level at 1-1 after extra time.
