Soothill got back on track in their bid for the Spen Valley League title after beating Dewsbury West Side 1-0 thanks to a goal from Abdullah.

It came after Bosnia had beaten Soothill 3-2 earlier in the week. Then Bosnia came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Howden Clough, for whom Phil Crossland and Joe Armitage were outstanding.

In Division One, Ring o' Bells were thrashed 7-1 at home to Queensbury, this being the half-time score. Glen Kirk scored a brilliant hat-trick and there were also goals for Daniel Scrimshaw, Mike Boocock, Matthew Todd and Wayne Bromley.

Inter Batley were two goals up at half-time against Norfolk but ended up losing 6-4. On target for the winners were Ilyas Lunat, Khan, Fandor, man of the match Yanya Lunat and Patel, with Batley also scoring an own goal.
