Leeds United breathed a sigh of relief todday when goalkeeper Casper Ankergren was let off with just a £750 fine.

The goalkeeper had pleaded guilty to throwing an object into the crowd after the Swindon match and the club feared a lengthy ban might affect their play-off hopes.

But after a personal hearing, Ankergren was only fined and warned as to his future conduct.
